CALL OUT - RESIDENCY

RAS, HAUT, and KRA are excited to announce a residency program collaboration in 2025. We are seeking a group of up to three artists working within performing arts, interested in exploring new possibilities during a residency at HAUT, Denmark.

Application Deadline
February 24th, 2025 

We are seeking artists based in Stavanger, Rogaland or who have a strong work connection with the region (at least one artist from the group). 

 

We invite artists from all fields, particularly interdisciplinary groups, working with performing arts to apply -  whether you are a dancer, choreographer, movement-based, sound- or visual artist or working with other media, and wish to co-create and explore a project in the context of this residency (in a black-box studio).


Location and Facilities
The residency will take place in a brand-new black box studio at HAUT in Copenhagen. This studio has eight speakers and a projector, making it an ideal space for creative exploration.

Date:
May 5th to May 18th, 2025 (last day in the studio is May 17th).
Accommodation is covered.


Fees:
- Residency fee: 16,500 DKK per person  
- Meeting fee: 2,000 DKK per person  (production meeting, preparation and evaluation meeting)    

Travel and Per Diem:
- Travels are covered up to 4000 DKK per person
- 875 DKK per travel day if travelling before or after the residency  
- Per diem: 200 DKK daily + Lunch at Haut on weekdays.

Budget for Materials:
- 6,000 DKK

ABOUT US


KRA is a coworking space and community for artists located in Stavanger. Established in 2020, KRA offers affordable shared workspaces and helps build professional networks for artists, particularly recent graduates, newcomers, and international artists. KRA supports ongoing projects, artistic research, collaborative practices, and multidisciplinary explorations through various events, residencies, and curated programs.

RAS serves as a programming and production venue and a regional competence centre for dance. Located in Sandnes, RAS hosts several dance artists in residence each year and allows continuous applications from choreographers at any project phase. Artists often present work screenings and engage in audience discussions, along with artist meetings and seminars.

HAUT is a performing arts organisation based in Copenhagen that focuses on artistic development and knowledge sharing. HAUT offers a wide range of residency formats, creating space for performing artists to develop and immerse themselves in their artistic practices under sustainable working conditions. With a co-curatorial approach, HAUT invites diverse perspectives into its curatorial process.
